Hello, my name is Mr. Mejia and this is my first year teaching! I graduated from the University of North Florida with my Bachelor's Degree in the year of 2019! I am the first Mexican-American generation in my family. Some of my hobbies and pasttimes are jamming out to music, hanging out with family and friends, drawing, journalism, performing American Sign Language Interpretation, and being active in my church. I realized I had a passion for teaching when I began teaching Sunday School and being an active volunteer of the McKenzie Academic Resource Center (MARC). At first, I wanted to major in Psychology and be a Counseling Therapist/Psychologist but changed my career path and wanted to inspire children through the world of teaching and learning.
